Sheraton Suites Old Town Alexandria

Very courteous and helpful staff. One elevator was out, but that is the only ding on the hotel. 4 pillows per bed! Super hot water, and great A/C. Location was great for walking over to Old Town. Supermarkets, breakfast places and other convenience stores very close. What else could you want?

It was amazing

We have stayed in the DC area many times, and this is the best place we’ve ever stayed. It’s a 15 minute walk to the nearest metro stop, but they run a shuttle service to Reagan airport every hour on the hour, so we used that for the convenience of catching the metro there. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast! This would be an excellent option for those with kids. I highly recommend!

Excellent location - clean & spacious room.

The room was VERY nice, as was the staff. We loved the location because of all the restaurants within walking distance, and breakfast at the hotel was not bad at all. Will definitely stay here again!

Rooms were clean, staff helpful and location excellent. Two issues: 1) parking fee is a bit too high for guest $37.50 is a bit excessive for a retired person. 2) parking garage exit markings are poor. The markings were at the end of the row but the turn to get out in the middle has none. Neither on the roadway or the post. This was level P1

While Expedia only gives this hotel 3 stars it’s at least as good as many 3.5 star hotels

Great hotel .

Only issue, the slide door to the bathroom was difficult to close, not much of an inconvenience for a one night stay, however was unpleasant

Lovely facility located in the heart of Old town. Close to many activities. The hotel was immaculate and staff friendly and very helpful in problem solving. Our room was spacious and well appointed. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect about a mile from King Street very nice ambiance

Stayed 2 nights…the room was a little run down, the carpet felt damp and there was a smell of paint. Upon checking in the room the door lock mechanism broke and our stuff was locked in the room…although the staff was pleasant and seemed to care to remedy the situation it was an inconvenience after travelling for the day. Was moved to another room and eventually retrieved our belongings however the room was not as nice as the first one it seemed. The outside of the property needs work, the foyer is decent and the neighbourhood seems safe. The bathroom is ok; although the cooling system in the room was kind of weak, asked for a fan, the front desk was happy to accommodate, however the fan never showed.

Stayed after a canceled flight and found the hotel to be very nice. Hotel restaurant was very good. Really appreciated the airport shuttle.
